Septic Tank Pumping, Cleaning & Maintenance

septic tank pumping north floridaFirst, think of your septic tank as an air filter in your home. Without routine maintenance, cleaning and replacement it will make your air conditioner work harder and possibly fail. Septic tanks should be pumped every 3 to 5 years (depending on usage). After several years of septic build-up, it will cause sludge on the bottom of the tank and floating scum. The build-up of sludge and scum can reduce the effectiveness of the septic tank. It will also cause wastewater to pass through the septic tank too fast and the solids can plug the pipes of the absorption field. If you do not get your septic tank pumped routinely, effluent will surface or sewage can back up into your home.

Septic System Pumping & Cleaning

A & B Construction pumps out all septic tanks completely, leaving only 1" to 2" on the bottom. Proper septic tank maintenance includes pumping your tank regularly (3-5 years depending on usage). If your tank hasn't been pumped in over 5 years, the solids may be very thick, taking longer to pump.
